Use the verb as it is in the dictionary. For past tense you add –ed or you use the second form of the verb. When you make a question or negative we use "do" for present and "did" for past. |
In progressive tenses we use the verb "to be" I am; we, you, they are; he, she it is. Present I, he, she was; we, you, they were Past
To make the structure of the progressive tense we need "to be" and "-ing" suffix at the end of the verb. |
